RESPONSIBILITIES

• He investigates and informs the institutions and services of the Municipality about possible sources of funding from EU co-financed projects or EU development programmes.
• He manages the programs in which Municipality participates.
• In cooperation with special scientific collaborators, it informs the Municipal Authority about the Programmes of the EU or other national or international bodies, which are of interest to the Municipality.
• He takes care of interconnection and communication with the National Coordinators and the European Institutions.
• He seeks collaborations domestic and abroad to exploit the possibilities offered by these mentioned programmes.
• He takes care of trading within the Municipality of forms and other media for European developments concerning Local Government.
• He ensures that citizens and local bodies are informed about EU programmes of general or special interest.
• He communicates with foreign institutions of interest to the Municipality.
