TASKS

Indicatively, among other things, the responsibility of the office is to:

• Plans, suggests and implements programs and initiatives aimed at crime prevention in the Municipality, in collaboration with the Local Crime Prevention Council.
• Conducts social research, plans, suggests and implements social policies related to the social care of the family, child, adolescents.
• There are counseling, psychological and social support units.
• Collaborates with local schools for information on social issues (AIDS, drugs, etc.) and in collaboration with parent associations organizes Parents’ Schools.
• Organizes social work with individuals, families and social groups.
